China+1: add Vietnam to your supply base without the trial and error
Tariffs, single-country risk and customer requirements push many buyers to add a second origin. We map Vietnamese capacity for your products, qualify factories, run pilot orders alongside your current supplier and scale what works.
- Best for
- Buyers with most volume in one country who need a second origin
- Typical timeline
- Feasibility in 3–4 weeks, pilot order in 3–5 months
- You receive
- Feasibility report, qualified factories, landed-cost comparison
The challenge
Why diversification stalls
- 01
Unknown capacity
It is hard to tell from abroad which Vietnamese factories really make your product, and at what scale and quality.
- 02
Origin rules
Moving assembly alone may not change the country of origin. Duty savings depend on where materials come from and how goods are processed.
- 03
Risk to current supply
Switching too fast puts your existing supply at risk; switching too slowly means paying the tariffs for another year.

Questions
Frequently asked
Will moving to Vietnam always cut duties?
Not automatically. The saving depends on your import market, the trade agreement and whether the goods meet its rules of origin. We assess this before you commit, and say so if the numbers do not work.
Can Vietnamese factories match our current quality?
For many categories, yes; for some, capacity is still limited. The feasibility study tells you which, before you spend on tooling or samples.
Do we need to stop buying from our current supplier?
No. Most clients keep their current supplier during the pilot and move volume only after the new source has proven itself.
